The Southeast New Mexico Illegal Dumping Partnership was formed to share resources and manpower across jurisdictional boundaries; to increase networking and communication capabilities; and to mitigate the growing illegal dumping issues in the region through educational outreach and shared Partner projects.

ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM
​Illegal dumping in southeast New Mexico has increased in recent years and has become a growing problem for private landowners, municipalities, counties, and state and federal agencies alike. It has reached a frequency and volume where the problem is too large for any one entity to address. The Southeast New Mexico Illegal Dumping Partnership was formed to share resources and manpower across jurisdictional boundaries; to increase networking and communication capabilities; and to mitigate the growing illegal dumping issues in the region through educational outreach and shared Partner projects.
